Hello all! I am still alive, just buried under a stressful pile of work stuff. But I couldn't resist sharing this -
I totally pigged out at Genea's shop and got a ton of wing dings! I LOVE her wing dings! Right now they are just sitting on the kitchen counter so I can look at them every time I walk by - so pretty!
I also pigged out at Humblebeads too when she had a big sale - I can't wait until they get here.
Stress + holiday jewelry sales at my Etsy shop + bead seller sales = rampant bead shopping

Soooo, although I loved the lampwork classes I took, I'm not looking to invest in a torch anytime soon, and the studio rental at Brea Bead Works are a bit too far for me to drive.
I'm thinkin' about destashing the glass & bead release I bought. Off the top of my head, it's probably about 8-10 slightly used rods of glass & an unused bottle of release. I'll take photos, but before I do so, is there any interest in this?

Just made for a charity auction. I love these colors together!
That fake neck display makes a world of difference, doesn't it!

I got my Moo cards in the mail today.
I *heart* them. Moo is awesome - they make the cutest little mini cards, and have totally cool designs they print on the back of the cards. Or you can have your own photos printed on the back! Such a neat idea.
Even if I did forget to put my shop name on the card. Seriously.
It's been a long week (that's my excuse, and I'm stickin' to it)
Moo is running a 30% off sale until Sunday, so hurry over there and get your own adorable card. I'm going to order some more (with a shop name!) for the Big Project I'm unveiling in January (did you see that plug right there?)

After reading this post, I did something very impulsive, even for me...
I bought this
Sherri Haab's E3 Etching system.
I've been wanting to learn more about etching. Guess I'm going to now! I'm super excited to start playing with it in January once the holidays calm down. I already have some ideas floating around...

Randomness -
I think I'm newly addicted to bracelet memory wire. I love how it looks like multiple bangles and is a great way to use up lots of the smaller beads in my stash. Pictures to come!
I'm mulling over re-opening the Copper Diem etsy shop in January after I get moving again on making enameled copper jewelry supplies. Thoughts?
I ordered some mini cards from Moo.com for GreenBead. I got ones with backs designed by Lara Cameron. Her stuff is awesome!
Brandi Girl has a cool post where she links to a site that lets you organize your etsy favorites. I haven't had a chance to play with it yet, but for the amount of time I spend bitching about how I can't organize my etsy favs, I thought I owed it to you to pass it along asap!
I'm doing a craft fair on Dec. 4. My first. I think I've moved past the "oh no, what have I signed myself up for" and into the "this could be fun!" stage. It should be low key - a mile from my house, no table fees, small holiday fair.
I got my "paint card challenge" card from Erin. This will be such fun! I love the colors I got. Of course, I didn't take photos this weekend, so that will be another post another day!
Got a huge stash of wood beads and bead caps (yes, more bead caps!) from The Beady Eye. I had to crack open another organizer bin for the wood beads. Love their stuff!
Happy "fall back!" I love changing the clocks. I love "spring forward" because it stays light later, but I love "fall back" because of the extra sleep, and because the darker evenings in the cool weather feels more snugly. That and I kept thinking it was late tonight, only to see it was 7 p.m.
Check out Teka and Zoe's enameled house charms. Jaw-droppingly cool!
And to reward you for making it this far, check out this listing I found on Etsy
A destash of 8 POUNDS of beads. That picture is just one of the bins! Yum Yum! I bought something similar off Ebay when I "started out." It's a good way to build up a stash quickly!
Goodnight!

Yeah, so I kinda blew off the blog this week. Naughty Amy! I've listed some stuff on Etsy, and I had a GREAT idea for Wednesday Window Shopping, but the week (and so far the month) has kinda gotten away from me. We are going away for T-day week, so work has been super busy trying to get stuff wrapped up, blah blah blah *insert more excuses here*
Will you accept the nugget of deliciousness below as my bouquet of apology beads?
