I'm going to be rolling out a sale in November, and I decided it's time for a change to the shop. So I got this great new banner set from Simply Creative Designs.
I had a hard time narrowing them down, and had to call in the husband as a five-way tie-breaker. My designs are using darker, more "earthy" colors now then when I got the original banner, and I think the new one fits the current stock better. I'm excited about the change!

I was wandering around Barnes & Noble yesterday checking out the craft books. They had a whole aisle of them! Yay! Here are some goodies I found and put on my Amazon wish list...
Cool enameling book. Looks like it has lots of great tips!
I'm so lusting after the cool earrings in this book
This one had tons of cool ideas for metal jewelry
I don't embroider, but this book makes me want to.
Check out the CUTE little flowers, trees and animals!
This book is for when the day of jewelry making is done ;)

Hmm, the number of blog posts to read on Google Reader has dropped off, and it's gotten kinda quiet in my comments. Is there something going on in beady blog land that I've missed? Is everyone frantically getting ready for holiday shows, and not online? I feel like a kid at the park with a ball and bat and no one to play with! Come out and play everybody!

I've been very productive in the last few weeks. I credit the nice weather - much more fun to be in the garage/studio when it's 65 degrees and breezy.
Here is a new necklace I made for ME! I'm so excited about it!

I made these lovelies to sell at an event for my assistant's motorcycle club. Can you guess their club color? I made 20 pairs, and each one is different. I tip my hat to jewelry makers in production mode right now for the holidays. One blogger is making 120 pairs of earrings! My oh my! I think 20 in one sitting is my max. I am a lazy beader, apparently ;)
The matchy-matchy with the tags was a happy accident!

I have been very very naughty. Like, extra super naughty. The last time I was this spendy with beads was when my dad was in the hospital and we had to take him off the "tubes" and I would go home every night, drink copious amounts of wine, and buy beads online. So, I'm kinda wondering what is going on in this ole brain o' mine. (wow, this post turned into a debbie downer episode right quick, didn't it!)
But, not to be a bead-buying buzz kill. I got the most gorgeous stash of Elaine Ray beads from Ornamentea today. Gor-geous. I've never had any of her beads, but they fill me with bead lust every time I see them, so I splurged.
And here are the arrivals in today's mail. Yum times 10!

These are soooo pretty. And such a cool shape for wood beads!
from e and e bungalow
And yes, I am noticing that I'm snapping up each week's Wednesday Window Shopping finds. That was not the point of WWS, people! I was just going to FEATURE them - not BUY them. *Sigh*
